We are sad to announce the passing of a long term resident of our Forres branch. Many of you will have met our 2 cockatiels, Beaky and Cheeky, who reside in our waiting room. Sadly Beaky has passed away. The birds came to the practice separately - both were strays brought in by members of the public and have been with us at least 16 years so we know Beaky lived to a good age despite having a deformed beak (hence the name). Cheeky seems to be coping well without Beaky.

Commencing in November 2010, Moray Coast Vet Group is to become a PDSA Pet Aid Practice. This means that we will be able to provide free veterinary treatment to people on low incomes who live in the IV36 and IV12 post code areas. Eligible clients must be in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax benefit, and need to register in advance with the PDSA. Certain limitations apply to the scheme - for more infomation, please phone Forres or Nairn surgeries, or call in to the surgery to collect a registration form.
